Thomas Witt

👋 Hi, I’m Thomas Witt — tech entrepreneur, angel investor, and co-founder of Expedite Ventures. With 25+ years in tech, my passion is devising new ideas, taking them from zero to one, and building software companies that scale.

Programming since age 8 and discovering the internet in 1990 led me to co-found my first software business straight out of high school in 1997. As CTO I oversaw the development of complex B2B SaaS products that served thousands of customers, won numerous awards, and were early adopters of AWS in the early 2010s.

Besides being an enthusiastic Ruby on Rails developer since 2009, I stay on top of emerging technologies and remain in founder mode — currently building a new AI-powered B2B solution.

Angel investing has long been part of my journey; in 2020 I formalised and scaled those efforts through Expedite Ventures.

Expedite Ventures is a business angel group of CTOs and CPOs. We invest in exceptional deep tech founders and help them create sustainable businesses through both (pre-)seed capital and in-depth, hands-on mentoring, leveraging our decades of collective expertise.
